Ylang Ylang Explained
It has been a minute since I’ve talked about essential oils here on the blog. But fear not my friends! I am still practicing my witchy ways.
I truly believe in the power of oils to help you heal, ease anxiety, and support your emotional well-being. One of the best tools for emotional support in my essential oils tool kits is Ylang Ylang.
Ylang ylang is derived from the flowers of the cananga tree - a tropical evergreen that thrives in rainforest environments.
It is thought to reduce irritability, anger, and anxiety as well as uplift your mood and improve sleep quality. In addition to the emotional support, it is rumored to be an aphrodisiac. Oh - la - la! Perfect for Valentine’s Day!
If you have ever smelled Chanel No. 5, you may already be familiar with Ylang Ylang’s earthy yet floral notes.
