Simple Holiday Glam Makeup Look
The holiday season is the perfect time to get super glam. It’s completely acceptable to wear glitter every for any occasion and in any setting. And that’s the kind of thing that really speaks to my soul. Yet, whenever I try to get dramatic with my eye looks (think crazy lashes and big wings), I end up hating it and wiping it off.
It looks fabulous on others but for some reason I don’t like how it looks on me. I feel more comfortable in simple makeup but a little glitter can really amplify your routine without sending you out of your comfort zone. Pair it with a red lip and you’ve got yourself a Christmas party appropriate look that isn’t over the top.
I started with the Tati Beauty Vol 1 Textured Neutrals palette. This baby was born to party - or hang out with your family and play UNO. She is gorgeous and has holiday written all over her.
I used Soothe Matte, Ritual Matte, Aura Metallic, and Ritual Metallic to build the base of my look. Then I topped the inner lid with Aura Glitter to bring it to the next level. I lined my eyes with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Liner in Bourbon*.
Using a brown liner keeps the look a little softer than a black liner would. I finished everything off with two coats of Covergirl Lash Blast in Very Black*
For my cheeks, I paired the Milk Makeup Glow Oil in Astro and the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand in Spotlight*. Starting with a foundation of cream products can really amp up the glow factor.
I added warmth to my complexion with this BareMinerals Endless Summer Bronzer*. And because, when it comes to Christmas, you can never have enough highligher, I added this Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Rose Quartz* on top.
On my lips, I’m wearing Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquidified Lip in Flambe. This bright red has major holiday vibes.
