Sephora Holiday Sale Event Recommendations
‘Tis the season to spend all your money on beauty and skincare at Sephora! After enduring 2020, you deserve to treat yourself. And the holiday sale is upon us!
Check out my recommendations from last year here! I still stand by all of these recommendations but had to come back with even more product goodness for 2020. Between stay-at-home orders and mandatory facemasks, my beauty routine has shifted focus from an all-over subtle glam to a perfected base and natural, effortlessly cool accents. Let’s get into the products from Sephora I’ve been digging in 2020.
Face
Bite Beauty Changemaker Foundation in L20 ($39.50): This new launch from one of my all time favorite brands was an absolute must for me. It is a great natural finish, long-lasting foundation with a medium-buildable coverage. I may even pick it up in L15 - a closer match to my winter skin.
Hourglass Veil Translucent Powder ($20): I grabbed a mini of this and I am absolutely going to be picking it up full-sized during the sale. It is a finely milled, soft powder that doesn’t seem to settle into fine lines.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter in Light 2 ($44): In the year of staying home and wearing masks, this has quickly moved up the ranks of favorites for me. While this is intended to be used as brightening layer underneath foundation, I’ve been using it alone and with under eye concealer for a low-maintenance makeup day. Just dot across the cheeks, forehead, and chin then blend with a damp sponge.
Cheeks
Tower28 Magic Hour ($20): I cannot get enough of this dusty neutral. If you’ve been here a while, you know I love boring blushes. This one takes the cake. The formula is perfect - blendable and smooth. The color is chef’s kiss perfection.
Eyes
Hourglass Scattered Light ($29): Pricey but so pretty. I love when eyeshadow makes a bold statement. This one is great for a no-fuss fancy-pants kind of look. Pair with a bit of bronzer in the crease or use alone for a one and done eye. This multidimensional shadow lends itself to simple yet elegant pairings.
Roen Beauty 11:11 ($42): If ever I were be to be transformed into makeup, it would be this palette. Pink, cool-tones .Creamy and glam. Dip in with your fingers and don’t be alarmed if things slide around during the day. The lived in look is all part of the charm. While most eyeshadows should stay put, this formula was made to gives off vibes of absolute effortlessness.
Skincare
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask ($25, mini): Wearing a face covering 40+ hours a week has really taken my skin for a ride. I swing wildly between Sahara Desert dry to full-blown cystic acne breakout. This mask has been saving my soul when things get crusty. When I’m particularly dry, I use it seal in the rest of my evening skincare and wake up feeling refreshed!
