Sephora Spring VIB Sale
It is that lovely time of year again when EVERYTHING at Sephora goes on sale. It’s a beautiful thing. If this were normal times, I wouldn’t think twice about recommending products to you but these aren’t normal times. I am really, really lucky to be in a position to still treat myself in addition to repurchasing a few of my favorite items that I’m almost out of.
If you are not in a position to be purchasing beauty products and this kind of post is upsetting to you, please take care of yourself and click away. You do not need purchase things to be okay in these troubling times. I have a lot of self-care and mental health content you can view instead.
If you are looking for a little reprieve from the madness, keep on reading. I picked up a couple of fun treats.
Repurchases
OLEHENRICKSEN Truth Serum ($50): This is my favorite Vitamin C serum and I’ve repurchased three times previously. I use this daily in the morning under my moisturizer. It helps to smooth and brighten my skin. I noticed a huge difference in my acne scarring when I started using it.
Kate Somerville Anti Bac Lotion ($42): Despite the fact that I am on the other side of the 30, I still get acne. Anti Bac keeps it a bay. It is the only benzyl peroxide product I can use without experiencing severe dryness. This is another product I’ve been using for years.
BeautyBlender Pro ($20): I am a huge BeautyBlender fan. It’s the only thing I use to apply my base makeup. I prefer the black one simply because it stains less than lighter colors.
Kopari Lip Glossy ($13): This is the best clear gloss around. It is so shiny, so moisturizing, and zero precent sticky. I use this alone in place of lip balm and on top of lipsticks for a shiny finish.
New to Me
I’m obsessed with Aether Beauty. So, when I saw that they came out with cheek palettes, I knew I had to try one. This absolutely gorgeous Rose Quartz Crystal Charged Cheek Palette ($44) was right up my ally but it also comes in a color way perfect for deeper skin tones.
I have already tried it and…I’m in love. I can’t wait to report back
I’ve heard nothing but raving reviews about this new(-ish) primer from Milk Makeup. I knew I had to try the Hydro Grip Primer ($15, mini). I love that they offer a travel size so I can try it out before committing. I’m picky about primers so I appreciate the option. I will let you know how I feel about it and if it can even hold a candle to my beloved First Aid Beauty primer.
This Roen Beauty 11:11 Eyeshadow Palette was a bit of a splurge ($42) but I’ve been dying to try Roen products. When they unveiled the 11:11 palette, I knew this would be the one that would tip the scales for me. The rose-y color way is so up my ally. And the type of eyeshadows that you can dab on with your finger and go is just want I need right now.
If you know, you know. I love Bite Beauty! I have the Outburst Long Wear Lip Stain in Sangria Slush and I knew I wanted to pick up the Strawberry Frose ($24) for this sale.
I can’t wait to have an occasion to wear this besides sitting on my couch!
When I saw that RiRi had released cream blushes, I was here for it. It was a bit difficult to restrain myself to one but I had to be realistic…because my Sephora hauls are always realistic, ya know? I picked up the Cheeks Out Freestyle blush in Strawberry Dip ($20). So pretty!
The sale ends on Friday May 1st. So, there’s still time to shop if you anything peaked your interest. What beauty products are you loving right now? Tell me all about it in the comments below!
