Squat Proof Leggings Part 4: Fabletics High-Waisted PowerHold 7/8 Leggings Review
Earlier this year I set out to find the absolute best squat-proof leggings on the market. So far, I have review the 90 Degree by Reflex Power Capri and the Zella Live-in Leggings. If you haven’t already read those, definitely check them out. They’re a great laugh if nothing else.
Here I am again to bare my (covered) bum on the internet for the sake of science. Today, I’m reviewing the Fabletics High-Waisted PowerHold 7/8 leggings. And I have a whole lot to say about them so, let’s get going!

Are they squat proof? Yes! I’m really impressed with the comfort, fit, and stretchy-ness of these leggings. If I REALLY bend over in direct sunlight with neon pink undies on (hey, I said this was for science, I TESTED these babies), you can see a little flash of pink but with nude undies in typical lighting - no problemo.
Easy to find and order? Yes and no. Fabletics has a tricky little VIP program that you have to sign up, with a credit card, in order to get the prices you see advertised on everywhere. The shipping is free over $50 (the cost of one VIP two-piece outfit). You can cancel your membership at any time or skip any month. I have been skipping since I signed up and haven’t had any problems - however, I have seen some horror stories on the internet. Make sure you get an email confirming that you’ve skipped the month. I have also heard canceling can be difficult. You have to talk directly to a customer service agent via phone or live chat. I would say the shipping takes a bit longer than I expected and bit longer than estimated when I placed my order but I ordered during a special sale. There may have been a delay due to high order volume. It took around 10 business days to arrive.
Cute and Stylish? Yes! Ok, these are plain black BUT I also got a pair of floral ones that are soo soo stinking cute. Love’m or hate’m, Fabletics has super cute styles.
Size inclusive? YES! Fabletics goes from an XS - 3X. They are the most size inclusive so far. I ordered according to their sizing chart and felt like the bottoms were a perfect fit!
Are they comfy? Yes. These babies don’t slide down or move around. When they say PowerHold, they mean it. These things will suck you in like no other but they’re not tight. They don’t give you camel toe. I absolutely love the fit and feel confident in them! They aren’t the softest leggings ever but they aren’t scratchy or itchy or too thick for comfort.
I have tested these leggings at spin class, barre, hiking, dog walking, lounging around the house…They check all the marks for me. My only issue with the brand is the VIP program. I just find these types of programs - become a member to get exclusive prices - a bit sketchy. I set an alarm on my phone to remind myself to skip on the first day of the month so, I feel like I’m good for now and I plan to purchase some capri length leggings and shorts next time they have a sale and then I will cancel my membership so I don’t have to remember to skip! I would definitely use this method - sign up for a sale then cancel membership again in the future if the cancel process goes smoothly. I will keep you updated!
All in all, these leggings check 4 out of 5 boxes for me. I’m willing to put in the work to get these leggings (ie signing up and canceling) but I’m also hopeful one of the brands on my horizon for this series will check the same boxes without the silly VIP membership. For now, I’m digging Fabletics!
