my classic margarita recipe
On Wednesday, I shared my classic guacamole recipe. I had so much fun making guacamole to share with you guys but what’s guacamole without a margarita? No fun.
Margaritas are one of my absolute favorite cocktails. It is so easy to make one from scratch and it is even easier to customize the ingredients to change it up. But today, I want to share with you a fresh, classic lime margarita.
Ingredients (makes 1):
2 oz. of silver tequila
3/4 oz of agave* (or simple syrup)
3/4 oz of fresh squeezed lime juice
Lime wedge for garnish
Salt
Method:
With a piece of lime, rim the edge of your glass and dip into salt
In a shaker filled with ice, add tequila, lime juice, and agave . Shake vigorously.
Add ice and a lime wedge to your salt rimmed glass.
Strain the contents of your shaker into your glass.
Enjoy!
