40 Days to Less Stuff
Lent is a season of reflection, penance, and sacrifice. The practices associated with Lent, like giving up a loved food or thing, doing more charity work, and letting go of ego by surrendering to the idea that no Earthly things can ultimately sustain us, are meant to bring us closer in our relationship with God.
Basically, Lent is a biblical journey to minimalism. Letting go of the clutter and distractions that prevent us from living as our highest selves.
This year, instead of giving up chocolate or coffee, I’m going to focus on reducing my material possessions that take up both physical and mental space in my life and prevent me from being living my highest life.
Let’s build a life that is rich in experiences instead of things.
I have identified 40 areas of my life that need some serious attention.
